I forgot what it was like to feel like this
To feel empty inside,
To feel incomplete-
It's scary to think of what is going to happen next
Thinking, why do I have to do this?

 

Can't someone else just take a stab in the dark
Hoping for the best?
To see what it's like to experience the emptiness.
So they don't have to deal with the ache
Or the pain- The thoughts...

I forgot what it was like to feel like this
To feel like someone is there again.
He is there, right by my side.
I just hope that he doesn't leave anytime soon
I kind of like him there by me.
