In an effort to make DE more user friendly, we've made a few changes to the "New Diary Entries" section of the home page.

First, the "New Diary Entries" list will now display any new entries that you have permission to view. This includes:
1. Entries written by members that you have not blocked and have not blocked you;
2. Entries written by members using the "Logged In Users" privacy setting (when you are logged-in);
3. Entries written by your friends who use the "Friends Only" privacy setting;
4. Private Entries written by friends whom allow you to read their private entries;
5. Your own entries, regardless of the privacy setting.

Your entries, including private entries, are as secure as they were before, and you can be assured that only members who have permission to view your entries will be able to see them on the front page. To see an example of how the home page works, view the home page while not logged-in, and then view it while logged-in. The list of entries will likely be different.

A second change was made to the "New Diary Entries" section: Entries displayed on the front page that are too long to be displayed in their entirety now have a "(more)" link at the end of the entry text. Clicking this link will display the entire entry if your web browser supports Javascript.
