Job offer!!!!

I got the job offer I've been waiting on today!! It's about a $12,000 raise from what I'm making now. 2 weeks of vacation this year, 3 weeks starting 1/1/13. AND they're offering me a $6,000 relocation sign-on bonus! This will offset the costs of moving and, while it'll be taxed heavily, at least I won't have to turn in receipts and it'll be on my first check!!

I'm pretty excited. I'm waiting for her to re-word the offer to include the 3rd week of vacation starting 1/1/13 (I negotiated for that...you're supposed to have to wait 5 years). After she re-words it and sends it to me, I'll accept!

I've already turned in my two week notice at work!!!! It made me so happy to do that!!!

Yay!!!

by dopie1985, 02-23-12 05:15 PM My first day is March 14th...Yep, the same day as Dad's surgery :( It sucks that I won't be able to go to FL for the surgery, but I just don't have a choice.
